Digital Camera Systems (DCS) has received a new round of investment from Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency and part of UK Research and Innovation, through the DCMS Create Growth Programme, to support development work across its product range.

Innovate UK works with ambitious businesses across the country, investing in projects that take new technology from early concept through to market. The Create Growth Programme is aimed at creative industries businesses with a strong track record of innovation and a clear plan for turning research and development into products that reach real customers.

This is the second time DCS has secured backing from Innovate UK, following an earlier round of investment through the agency’s Creative Catalyst scheme in 2024. Innovate UK returning to back DCS again is a strong signal of continued confidence in the company’s direction.

“Having Innovate UK invest in us again means a great deal,” says Gary Keller, Operations Manager at DCS. “It’s a vote of confidence in the team and the work we’re doing, and it gives us more room to keep pushing our product range forward.”

DCS has received around £130,000 through this latest round. The company plans to share more detail on the specific work this supports as it progresses.
